Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Credify (the “Service”) at credify.work, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Credify (“we”, “us”).

2. The Service

Credify provides six web-based content and SEO tools: the Site Scan and Page Scan, E-E-A-T Checker, Clarity Checker, Passive Voice Remover, AI Summarizer, and Word Counter. Tools are provided on an as-is basis and may be changed, added, or withdrawn at any time.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid features.

3. Accounts

You must be 13 or older to create an account. You are responsible for your account credentials and any activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@credify.work if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, malicious, or that you lack the right to submit
• Use the Service to generate or facilitate spam, plagiarism, academic misconduct, fraud, or deceptive content at scale
• Scrape, automate, or programmatically access the Service except through a documented API we provide
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or model weights
• Circumvent rate limits, paywalls, account requirements, or share Pro credentials
• Interfere with the Service's operation, security, or other users' access

We may rate-limit, block, or terminate access for violations without notice.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to content you submit. By submitting content for processing, you grant us a limited, transient licence to process it solely to generate and return your results. We do not store submitted content after results are returned, and we do not use it to train models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you provide.

6. Pro Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

• Pricing. Pro is offered at the price shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. We may change pricing for future billing periods with notice; existing paid periods are honoured at the original price.
• Payment. Payments are processed by a third-party provider. By subscribing, you authorise the charge for the selected billing period.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds. We offer a 7-day refund window from the initial purchase date if you have not made substantial use of Pro features. Email hello@credify.work with your payment reference to request a refund. Renewal charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Taxes. Prices exclude taxes where applicable; you are responsible for taxes due in your jurisdiction.

7. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, brand, and documentation, is owned by Credify and protected by applicable IP laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the Service to you. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party infrastructure for hosting, authentication, AI inference, analytics, and payment processing. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control. The Privacy Policy describes the categories of providers used.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Tool outputs (scores, recommendations, rewrites, detection verdicts) are informational and should not be relied on as definitive professional advice. AI-detection results are probabilistic and may produce false positives or negatives. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Credify and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD 50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Credify harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing hello@credify.work. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, suspected abuse, or as needed to comply with law. Sections 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

Credify is operated from South Korea. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of South Korea, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you stronger rights, in which case those rights apply.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes affecting paid features, notify Pro subscribers by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
