Privacy Policy

Overview

Credify ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at credify.work. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We have designed Credify to minimize data collection: 18 of our 20 tools require no account and store no personal data. Where data is collected (accounts, Pro subscriptions), we describe it explicitly below.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Content you submit for analysis. Text, URLs, or files are sent to our backend for real-time processing only. Content is not stored after your results are returned.
• Account data. The AI Text Humanizer requires a free account. When you sign up, we collect your email address to authenticate your session and enforce daily usage limits (5 uses per day on the free tier). Account data is not shared with third parties for marketing.
• Humanizer usage logs. For signed-in users, we log each Humanizer use (word count, content type, strength setting, timestamp, user ID) to enforce fair-use limits and track aggregate usage. Content itself is not logged.
• Subscription data. If you upgrade to Pro, we store your plan tier, subscription status, and expiry date. Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider. We do not store payment card details.
• Global usage statistics. We maintain a single aggregate counter of total analyses performed across all tools: a number only, with no sessions, content, or identifiers linked to it.
• IP address. Our backend records your IP address temporarily to enforce anonymous rate limits and for error monitoring. IP logs are not retained beyond 30 days and are not linked to any account.

How We Use Your Content

Content you submit (text, URLs, or files) is processed solely to generate your results. We do not store, log, or use submitted content for any other purpose.

AI Humanizer: Text submitted to the Humanizer is forwarded to third-party AI infrastructure to perform the rewrite. This processing is transient: content is not retained by us or by the infrastructure provider after your result is returned.

We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell your content or share it with advertising or data-brokering services.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookieless hosting analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, referrers, device types). This does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.

If you accept the cookie banner, we additionally load Google Analytics 4 (aggregate page views, referrers, and device types), Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session recordings and heatmaps, used to improve the tools), and Google AdSense (advertising, which may be personalised). These set their own cookies and similar identifiers. If you decline, none of them are loaded.

A cookie consent banner is shown on first visit, and your choice is stored locally as a preference. Authenticated sessions use a secure, httpOnly session cookie to maintain your login state. Text you submit to the tools is never sent to any of these services.

Third-Party Services

Credify uses third-party providers for the following functions: frontend and backend hosting, user authentication and database storage, AI model inference (for the Humanizer and AI detector tools), analytics and product research (Vercel Analytics, and with your consent Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity), advertising (Google AdSense, with your consent), and payment processing for Pro subscriptions.

Each provider processes only the data needed for their specific function. We do not share submitted content with any advertising or data-brokering service. A full list of providers is available on request at hello@credify.work.

Data Retention

• Submitted content: Not retained. Deleted immediately after results are returned.
• Account email: Retained while your account is active. Deleted on account deletion request.
• Humanizer usage logs: Retained for 90 days for fair-use enforcement, then purged.
• Subscription records: Retained for accounting purposes in line with applicable law.
• IP logs: Rolling 30-day window, not linked to any account.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California), you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Opt out of any marketing communications
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Children's Privacy

Credify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our service, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Credify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Operator & Jurisdiction

Credify is operated from South Korea. Where Credify processes personal data, it acts as the data controller for the limited account, subscription, and usage data described above.

EU/UK users: under GDPR Article 27, controllers outside the EU/UK that systematically process EU/UK residents' data may be required to appoint a local representative. Credify's data processing is limited (email-only account, no profiling, no targeted advertising, no data sales) and the service is not specifically directed at EU residents.
