The site scan reads a sitemap and compares the pages with each other: shared wording, near-identical page pairs, the share of thin pages, and duplicate or templated titles and meta descriptions, then lists which pages carry wording of their own. ## Key Facts

- The site scan measures what exists only between pages, which a page-by-page audit cannot see: how much wording pages share, which are near-copies, what share are thin, and whether titles and descriptions follow a template.
- Pages are sampled evenly across the whole sitemap, including sitemap indexes, rather than taken from the top.
- Word counts hold across scripts: Chinese, Japanese, and Thai pages are not miscounted as thin, and titles are compared in any script.
- Credify does not claim to know why Google acted on a site. Every finding names the pages behind it so it can be checked.
